After a wonderful break over Christmas and New Year, including a few days spent up in Queensland, I am now back at work and very pleased to see a considerable number of appointments already in my diary for the coming weeks. The city is certainly busier than it was this time last week and I’m sure it will get even busier when the first of the schools go back next week.
We have a very exciting year ahead at J. H. Cutler and I look forward to sharing my news and views with you over the coming weeks and months.
I have started planning some changes to the content and layout of my private rooms in O’Connell Street to enable me to better display my increased range of gentleman’s fashion accessories including socks, leather belts, boxer shorts, ties and shoes from Edward Green and Stefano Bemer and am looking forward to seeing it all once the work is finished.
Born in 1949 and christened John Handel Lawson Cutler, I am the fourth generation of my family to take up the tailor's shears. I joined the family business straight from school at 16 years of age. Even before then I had always shown a very keen interest in bespoke tailoring and shirt making.
