THE FLAT CAP, ONCE THE SOLE PRESERVE OF THE BRITISH WORKING CLASS, HAS UNDERGONE A FASHION RENAISSANCE OVER THE LAST SIX TO NINE MONTHS TO BECOME THE PERFECT FASHION ACCESSORY FOR THE MODERN MAN ABOUT TOWN.

Flat caps, which have proved popular with stars such as David Beckham, Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Timberlake, are being worn as part of a traditional look, as well as by younger men in Europe and North America where British heritage style has emerged as a key fashion trend. As autumn moves towards winter here in Sydney I have started to see more caps on the streets here as well.
