New Flagship Stefano Ricci Store Opens in Florence
DIANE AND I WERE VERY PRIVILEGED TO BE INVITED TO THE GALA OPENING OF THE NEW STEFANO RICCI FLAGSHIP STORE IN FLORENCE.
Situated at Via de’ Pescioni, 1 this is a store surely with no rival, the event was an array of color, interesting people, luxury and beautiful product. If you are ever in Florence I would advise that you don’t miss this destination store.
Stefano was really in his element and his audience were from all parts of the globe. This unique gem is over 2 floors incorporating ties, scarves, outerwear, leather goods, jewellery and home furnishings.
I was told that Stefano is opening another in Milan in a few weeks and that his dream, held for many years, is coming to fruition.
Stefano Ricci is considered by many to be the finest tie designer in the world and we are delighted to stock a selection of his ties at J. H. Cutler in Sydney.

Who is John Cutler?
Born in 1949 and christened John Handel Lawson Cutler, I am the fourth generation of my family to take up the tailor's shears. I joined the family business straight from school at 16 years of age. Even before then I had always shown a very keen interest in bespoke tailoring and shirt making.

John, will you have access to all of his products - I noticed that the shoes & fur jacket in the display were probably an addition to his normal range!

Can you please tell us more abou t the home furnishings. Is this new for him as well? Looks like a beautiful store. His shirts and ties are great!

Hi John. What do you think about Stefano Ricci’s silk shirts? They are super expensive, but they seem like works of art, just like his ties.

Sam, I saw a lot of them in the New Stefano Ricci Store in Firenze and they were very special. Obviously great silk fabric and very well made. A good selection of colors and patterns as well. COST, yes expensive but worth it to the enthusiast. John Cutler

A, The furnishings are quite varied, he has set up a bedroom with rich silk bedspread and cushions in bright colors and various items of clothing scattered around. The dining table is like a Hermes setting etc. etc. The best of everything as is all the store items. I did not enquire about prices. John
